Abstract/Summary
This study is a survey of the top ten companies in the Philippines in 1976 based on the Business Day's List. The different classifications of the companies are manufacturing, commercial and service groups, utility and agricultural companies. These are the respondents about their operations research activities. The survey shows the introductory stages of operations research in the Philippines and its advantages and contributions to the industry have been proven significant.The theoretical framework includes linear and non-linear programming models, dynamic optimization models and queueing theory and simulation.
