Abstract/Summary

This study covers the production of Persona, a 48-page thesis magazine that shines a light on the extraordinary facets of ordinary people as a deliberate challenge to the celebrity-centered publications in print today. The paper includes multiple factors to consider in the different phases of production (particularly identity, content, and stylization) while also bringing up the different issues and challenges that arise in the process. Persona magazine includes the stories of a veteran journalist with over 30 years of experience a paranormal investigator a PAGASA weather forecast a justice advocate who spent nearly 7 years in prison, among others.
