Abstract/Summary

It is logically undeniable that there are indeed people who patronize horoscopes, given that these are present in almost all forms of media, from print to television. Hence, there is unsurprisingly a number of people who rely on these predictions in weighing choices and making decisions. Given this, the proponents have questioned horoscopes in the light of their credibility, and effects to their patrons. The study found that these people believe in astrology to have something concrete to hold on to amidst the uncertainties of life. However, horoscopes which have been commercialized through time, can affect readers as they are convinced that well-written generalizations are specific to them, subconsciously altering their moods, choices, and behavior, to fit those descriptions.
