Abstract/Summary
Grand friend is a short feature film about friendship between an 8-year-old boy named Anton and a 60-year-old man named Marcelo. Both longing for company as Anton's mom is always preoccupied with work while Marcelo's wife has already passed away and they have no children nor grandchildren. They both find company and comfort in each other's presence as they spend the summer together in the park.
Anton and Lolo Marcelo do things together in the park from playing to talking to each other to dancing and to most importantly learning valuable lessons from one another. As the two spend more days together, they become best of friends. One afternoon, Anton accidentally breaks Lolo Marcelo's watch. Since then, Marcelo never went back to the park just for Anton to find out that Lolo Marcelo has passed away already.
