The Missing Chapter is a 20-minute short suspense film inspired by the writing prompt, A writer slowly goes crazy as his characters start talking to him . It revolves around Francis, a 45-year-old suspense novelist who is passionate about writing and lives off producing short stories under a publishing company.

Its title refers to the point where the writer could no longer come up with what to write that has continuously gotten onto his nerves because he cannot end the novel, that he thought something was off and it was incomplete.
