Abstract/Summary
This study aims to direct electronic, mechanical and programming knowledge into a creative, helpful and innovative purpose. The Wheelchair Mounted Robotic Arm is designed to assist disabled persons who use the wheelchair. The Robotic Arm, controlled by a simple electronic keypad, hopes to provide additional mobility by supplying a farther reach span. The Electronic Wheelchair is supplied with a cruise control function which could perform pre-programmed tasks. The system hopes to increase user independence.
