Abstract/Summary
Within the soccer robot game, this thesis created a new game variation. The object of the game is to touch the opponents back and avoiding being touched by the opponent and thus it is called Evade and Conquer Mobile Robot (ECoMoR). The thesis implements a vision system, communication system based on Bluetooth Technology and ECoMoR movements. The ECoMoR is controlled using ATMEGA128 microcontroller in its motor control. Any decision making are made within the computer based on the implemented algorithm and the output of the vision system. Four different algorithms are implemented throughout the thesis work which was tested against each other. Different test shows that algorithms perform better in different cases.
