Abstract/Summary
A study was conducted on the fin muscles of Ophiocephalus striatus bought from the Pamilihang Bayan ng Las Pinas, which is a wet market in Las Pinas, Metro Manila. A total of forty fishes, with the weight ranging from 154.00 g.-646.00 g., were analyzed for the presence of metacercariae in the muscles of the base of the fins. All samples were found negative for the presence of metacercariae in the fin muscles.
