Abstract/Summary
Taho peddled in Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig City was analyzed for the presence of fecal coliforms and coagulase positive staphylococci. Eighteen samples bought from ten different taho peddlers were studied. One out of the eighteen samples was positive for fecal coliforms but negative for coagulase positive staphylococci. Sixteen were positive for coagulase positive staphylococci. Results showed that the taho samples studied were potential sources of disease-causing microorganisms.
