Abstract/Summary

The Sta. Elena Properties Information System (SEPIS) is an information system designed to help Sta. Elena Properties accomplish their tasks. It includes a Payroll Module, Purchasing Module, Personnel Module and Membership Module. The system supports the most significant tasks done by the departments concerned.

A number of factors have caused top management to realize the need for information systems. Among these are the ease of monitoring information and the efficiency of processing transactions. The significance of having an information system like SEPIS came up when problems such as growing number of data, the need for fast report generation and poor record keeping within the company arose. Thus this project was started and the system was developed to answer to these needs.

In this thesis, the group viewed the system as a tool wherein the different departments of the company can better improve their tasks and provide easier access to information within the company. The system is viewed to contribute to the company by making their jobs easier and more efficient. The Sta. Elena Properties Information System is a system designed to perform in a network environment."
