Abstract/Summary

The CCS Freshmen Interactive Multimedia Survival Kit is a pioneer multimedia system designed to provide basic information to CCS freshmen. Different forms of media such as texts, graphics, videos, sounds and animations are combined wherein users can experience and get information that can help them during their stay in CCS.

The study aims to create an interactive multimedia survival kit for CCS freshmen. To achieve this, the proponent made a needs assessment and identified the needs of the users. To gather and digitize the different information available, made a storyboard, designed and implemented the system in Authorware.

The developed Interactive Multimedia System, CCS Inside, provide CCS freshmen with a new tool to understand and adapt themselves in the CCS way of life. It also supplements the LPEP and DLSU student handbook. CCS Inside is a title distributed using the CD Rom technology and allows users to access needed information in their own time and pace."
