Abstract/Summary
Many personalities involved in the 1896 Revolution still do not receive proper recognition. Developing awareness and realization on people would enable to inspirit their lives and to appreciate their cultural identity.
Multimedia technology is applied because of its capability to incorporate various forms of media elements such as text, sound, and images that would help to capture the interest of the user. Therefore, it would make information dissemination dynamic. The Multimedia on Heroines of the 1896 Revolution is an interactive multimedia system providing information on each of the nine heroines who participated in the 1896 Revolution.
With the development of the system, the objectives of MM-Heroines are the following: to determine the significant women in the 1896 Revolution to digitize relevant data pertaining to the chosen heroine and to integrate these digitized data into an interactive multimedia system. User's Manual and Technical Manual are also provided to the user as an added help in knowing the system."
