The 1896 Revolution Multimedia System is an interactive system designed to provide information on the 12 momentous events which transpired during the 1896 Revolution and which brought about Philippine Independence. Multimedia technology was utilized due to the technology's ability to facilitate faster learning and because of its ability to stimulate the audio and visual senses. Different forms of media such as text, graphics, video, and animation are combined wherein users can experience and learn the basics of history with fun.

Among the objectives of the thesis are: to provide 4 modules, namely, the Events, Biography, Gallery, and Trivia modules to provide a Quiz module which would assess the knowledge of the users on the topics covered to apply the concepts of Human Computer Interface and to provide a technical and users manual to serve as reference.
