Abstract/Summary
The subjects in the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) degree were integrated with the subjects in the Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) degree to come up with the course flowchart of the proposed Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accountancy (BS-MSA) Ladderized program. Basically, no subjects taken by a student in the undergraduate degree will be credited in the MSA degree since a student is given a separate diploma for the master degree in a Ladderized program. The thesis writing requirements for both the undergraduate and masteral programs are to be fulfilled by the students in the BS-MSA program. For example, students in the double-degree Economic and Accountancy program would have to submit three thesis papers: one for Bachelor of Science in Economics, one for Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and one for Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) if the decided to enter the Ladderized program. However, the thesis for the MSA degree is an individual thesis as required by the Accountancy Department. The study was able to integrate the requirements of the BSA and MSA degree into a single flowchart, providing that the concept of the BS-MSA degree program is plausible.
