Abstract/Summary
Seven species of echinoids were collected and identified. Under Order Diadematoidea, two species belong to Family Diadematidae namely, Diadema setosum and Echinotrix calamaris. Under Order Temnopleuridae, two species belong to family Toxopnuestidae namely, Tripnuestes gratilla and Toxopnuestes chlorocanthus. Under Family Echinometridae of the same order were three species namely, Echinometra oblonga, Echinometra mathei and Heterocentrotus mammilatus.Echinoids were collected within 100 meters from the shoreline of Malabrigo point, Lobo, Batangas.
