Abstract/Summary
The effects of the different concentrations of the organophosphate insecticide S-1,2-Di (ethoxy carbonyl) ethyl dimethyl phosphorothiolothionate (0.857 uL/mL, 1.428 uL/mL and 2 ul/mL) on the chlorophyll A content and cell density of Anabaena 02 PH were determined. Results showed that the chlorophyll A content and cell density of the algal strain decreased when algal cells were grown in culture media containing different concentrations of the insecticide.
