Abstract/Summary
Three microbial isolates taken from different rose plant stem nodules were subjected to cultural, microscopic morphological characterization and biochemical tests. Classifications in the species and biovar levels were based on the nomenclature proposed and data complied by Kersters and De Ley (1984), respectively. The isolates were found to be Agrobacterium sp. belonging to biovar 2.
