Abstract/Summary
Despite the increasing number of single parents in the country, comprehensive research and focus on the Filipino single father had been limited. Lone Dads follows the lives of three single fathers who come from different walks of life, yet carry the same responsibility of raising their daughters in motherless homes. As single fathers, their primary role is not only to support their family financially but to also look after their daughters and relate with their needs as they grow up. The documentary expounds on the subjects relationship with their daughters as they cope with their situation through the encounters of daily life.
