Abstract/Summary
Chubby is a short feature film about Barbara Agoncillo who is a plus size woman who aims to lose weight in order to fit in with the society's standard of beauty. The story follows Barbara, a 25 year old food blogger as she struggles with her love for food and her insecurity toward her physical appearance by going through crash diets, various workouts and eventually taking diet pills. The film focuses on the study on the perception of body image and how it affects ones self esteem. The film aims to address the viewing audience of the adolescents to young adults (16-21) or (21-27) from classes A, B & C.
