Abstract/Summary
"CAMP JOHN HAY: In the name of Development" is a 13-minute documentary video on the conversion of Camp John Hay into a mega-tourism complex. It shows footage of the current situation of the Camp. It also presents views from the developer, the opposition, government and media on some issues concerning the effects of the conversion on the environment and public access. With this video documentary, the proponents' objective is for their viewers to be more aware and concerned with this national issue.
The video is shot using Video 8 cameras. Raw footage materials are in Video 8 format and it was edited in a non-linear system. The final copy is in VHS format.
