Abstract/Summary
Based on a communication audit, the researchers discovered that there was a gap between senior and junior members of the Philippine Air Force Officers Ladies Club (PAFOLC). The organization found the problem worrisome because this had been affecting its ability to foster camaraderie and encourage collaboration among its members. The researchers, along with the officers of the organization, decided that an event would be the best option to bridge the gap among its members.
The event was organized by the researchers in coordination with PAFOLC officers and the organizing committee formed, and was held on January 25, 2014 at Villamor Air Base. The event was a success, meeting goals that the organizing committee set, which were to: (1) increase level of camaraderie between members, (2) encourage collaborations among them, (3) increase level of participation of members in a club event, and (4) change the perception of the members that the organization is a VIP club.
