Abstract/Summary
A study of marine gastropod shells was conducted on May, July and September 1993 in the Southwestern portion of Camarines Sur particularly in the intertidal area of Pasacao. Pasacao has a sandy muddy substratum. Collections were done during low tide. The area of collection started from the shore and extending approximately to a depth of 4 feet. The length of the coastline was approximately 200 meters. A total of 40 species of marine gastropod shells were collected, identified and classified into 1 subclass, 4 orders, 13 superfamilies, 19 families and 22 genera.
