Abstract/Summary
A study on the collection and identification of asteroids was conducted in the months of February, March and May, 1993 within the vicinity of Unisan, Quezon. Collections were done during mid-morning till mid-afternoon in the intertidal area, approximately ten meters away from the shore during low tide. A total of 7 species of asteroids were collected, identified, described and, classified. Asteroids belonged to one Subclass, one order, four families and five genera.
