Abstract/Summary
The taxonomy of marine gastropod shells found in San Juan, Batangas specifically in the sitio of Laiya Aplaya was studied from July to October 1992. The shore has a sandy substratum with a straight and flat contour. Collection of shells was done along the shore and in the intertidal area. The overall total number of species of marine gastropod shells collected and identified amounted to thirty-five which were classified to two subclasses, five orders, four suborders, twelve superfamilies, thirteen families and thirteen genera.
