Abstract/Summary
The Filling is Sweeter is a short feature about how an insecure young girl struggles to become a good baker, enough to make her mother proud. The young girl will be learning from an old baker whose loneliness has longed her for company. The two will bond in which the young girl will learn the techniques of baking cupcakes. She will also start to believe in her skill as the old baker rediscover happiness in the young girl's company and understand what she has been missing in her life.
This film centers around the issues and problems of a parent and child to the point that they become emotionally tired of each other but despite these conflicts, they will still care for each other because at the end of the day, the relationship of parent and child is something that cannot be broken. At the same time this film tackles and uncovers the struggle for true reconciliation and acceptance.
