Abstract/Summary

Sephbiz tackels issues inside the showbiz industry here in the Philippines and how normal people such as its audience get connected and affected. It focuses around Seph, a fan boy who wants to be a part of the glamorous yet blinding industry. He struggles between continuing his dream and passion, and keeping up with his and his sisters' survival. This study depicts how the industry and its products influence the construction of reality of the lives of those involved on and off camera. Through the character's journey, one sees how different people value the industry.
