Abstract/Summary
A preliminary study on the taxonomy of gastropod shells found in Sto. Tomas, La Union was conducted in the months of April and December. Thirty two species of gastropods were collected and classified under one subclass, two orders, nine superfamilies, and twelve families. The collection site were the coastal areas of the fishing village of Baybay, Sto. Tomas, La Union. The site generally have deep and clear water and a sandy muddy substratum.
