Abstract/Summary
Radio frequency identification technology is one of the groups under the broad category of automatic identification technologies. Unlike the common bar-code technology, RFID technology does not require contact or line-of-sight communication. This advantage gives better tracking and monitoring of assets or objects.
Tracking and monitoring of a human is very much debatable for it is against the right of a person for privacy. However, there are some exceptions. Such exceptions are tracking and monitoring of prisoners, employees and preschoolers.
The tracking and monitoring process will be integrated with a GSM module and internet applications to further enhance its tracking and monitoring capabilities.
