Abstract/Summary
A taxonomic study on marine gastropod shells was conducted last June 1992 in Tujud Island, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro. The substratum of the said island is mostly composed of fine white sand and some coralline area. Collection was done in mid-morning till noon, and was restricted to the shore and intertidal zone only. A total of forty-five species of marine gastropod shells were collected and identified. The specimen belonged to two subclasses, five orders, three suborders, thirteen superfamilies, eighteen families, and twenty-one genera.
