Abstract/Summary
Mother Lily Monteverde has been a mover in the Philippine film industry for the past four decades. By producing over 500 films, she has played a major part in shaping the industry to what it is today. While it is true that her keen business sense has contributed to her longevity in the industry, it is her deep love and passion for the movies that endears her to many. Behind the facade of a hard-hitting movie producer is the true character of a mother to the film industry itself.
