Abstract/Summary

Maswerte Supermart Incorporated (MS) employs a manual inventory system. This study aims to identify and address problems related to Maswerte inventory management practices through a Business Process Improvement approach focused on Maswerte Surf products.

SWOT and Cause and Effect analyses were used to evaluate the practices and problems found in the inventory system. The results served as a basis for identifying possible alternatives which will make the system more effective, efficient and adaptable.

The research proposed the use of an excel spreadsheet, a database and Inventory software. After conducting Cost-Benefit and Value-Chain analyses, the researchers were able to identify the best alternative which is Inventory.. The proposed system includes an implementation and utilization plan to be followed by the company
