Abstract/Summary

Kanlungan Centre Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) is a non-governmental organization that upholds the rights and welfare of Filipino migrants most especially those who have been victimized by illegal recruitment and human trafficking. KCFI provides complete services to those who are unfortunate to have hard an illegal or trafficking experience such as paralegal and medical assistance, counseling, and even livelihood support. One of the organization trusts is the education and training of the Filipino migrant in order to lessen the growing number of cases of illegal recruitment and human trafficking. However, it was discovered that these two important issues are only discussed in passing within their other seminars. In addition, it tends to establish a separate training for anti-illegal recruitment and human trafficking and the lack of an organized and systematic structure of topics has been a hindrance to such an effort.

As a response to the said problem, the researchers developed a training module for the anti-illegal recruitment and human trafficking seminar of KCFI. It includes instructions for the trainer as well as visual guide as to what is being shown in the slideshow presentation. This aimed to provide standardization and consistency in teaching the seminar given that will be utilized in various locations.
