Abstract/Summary
This thesis proposes an Interactive Environment using Sounds (INTENSe), a virtual environment that will allow a visually impaired person to interact with a virtual world without the use of visual interfaces. This will be done using positional sounds, a microphone and a Wifi controller as an interaction and navigation device. It interacts by identifying what object it is and use it in the environment.
