Abstract/Summary

Mangrove tree species were studied in 3 sampling sites in Talin Bay. Three species were identified, namely avecinia marina, Avecinia officinalis and Sonneratia caseorales. Tree dimensions such as trunk diameter and tree height were also obtained. Mangrove trees found in Talin point have the highest average trunk diameter (17.9 cm) and tree height (3.27 m) while mangrove trees found in the DLSU marine station have the lowest mean value of trunk diameter (16.00 cm) and tree height (2.55 m). The percent cover of mangrove in Talin Bay was estimated to the 23.64 percent.
