Abstract/Summary
This study is aimed to discover how good the fit is between a graduate of AB Psychology program of De La Salle University and his/her job in the field of Recruitment and Selection. Primary sources were mainly used in this study. The study made use of (1) an online survey to gather data on the perceived competencies of the AB Psychology program of DLSU. The researchers then tested and validated these perceived competencies by surveying, again online, their uses in the corporate (recruitment) setting. The information gathered points toward a program that prepares the graduates for the field of recruitment in a holistic manner as represented by the number of highly related competencies and recruiter job duties.
Based on this study, the overall job fit of the AB Psychology graduates of De La Salle University stands at 67.28% for the field of Recruitment and Selection.
