Abstract/Summary

The short film Misconception is to be produced as a light comedy-drama with a master plot of maturation. The film is to revolve around an 18 year old sexually active female character who believes in a number of contraception myths picked up from peers of the same age. The film tackles the topics pre-marital sex, unprotected sex, and particularly teenage pregnancy. Meg Villegas, the protagonist, who believes in contraception myths, eventually learns that these myths are not effective.
