Abstract/Summary
The proponents feature film focuses on the maturation of a 10-year old boy. This individual goes through the process of understanding death, particularly focusing on the death of those close to him. Children are usually perceived as innocent and are better off having their feelings spared so they wont get hurt by the harsh facts of reality. The proponents decide to tackle the children's perspective to enable the audience to see that children are also deeply affected and the capability to understand different situations in reality, an example of which would be death. In this project, the child matures as he realizes that death of a close loved one does not always mean abandonment but ones inevitable fate at life's end. The feature film will run for 22 minutes.
