Abstract/Summary
The thesis will be an automated version of present pay parking systems as found in many malls. The customer will receive a card from a machine that serves as an identification number. The customer, at the exit, will then be required to input the given a card in a machine where the total amount to be paid is computed according to a set rate. The amount will be shown and the machine will also receive the payment, in bills, and return any required change. After payment, the customer is then allowed to leave.
