Abstract/Summary
The European Union and the United States assisted the Philippines with their respective aid projects. They both focus their aid programs on different sectors such as the environment, rural, health, business, disaster assistance, human welfare, and others. For the year 1995, the EU and US give more emphasis on the rural, environment, health, and the business sectors. These sectors have conditions that need development, evaluation, not only by the Philippine government, but also the other countries.
This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part discusses foreign aid, in general. The second one involves the aid projects of the EU and US in the Philippines and the top three priority sectors.
