Abstract/Summary
The aim of the study was to determine the police officer's perception on public's opinion towards police from rural and urban area. The researchers used convenience sampling. The sample was composed of 3 groups of rural respondents from Quezon province and 3 groups of urban respondents from Metro Manila. The gabay sa pagtatanong-tanong was used as an instrument for both the rural and urban respondents. The rural police view themselves as positively perceived by the public while the urban police view themselves as negatively perceived by the public.
