Abstract/Summary
Searching for joy3 is a 20-minute short feature film about n 11-year-old-boy and the realization he gains after going on a quest to find his beloved yaya name Joy, he unexpectedly finds a different, and far more important kind of joy—the joy that comes from being with his own family. The film chronicles how Kevin discovers the real meaning and essence of family. The film seeks to portray how Filipino children’s relationship with their yayas affect how they interact with their parents and vice versa. The film aims to address the viewers that fall under the age of 10-40 and under the A-C class.
