Abstract/Summary
A device driver enables communication between a device and an operating system. While there have been efforts to emulate Windows on top of other operating systems to run Windows applications, the printing functionality has not been fully developed. The research discussed the implementation of printer drivers of Linux and Windows. This work provided a facility for a Windows application to print on a Linux operating system.
