Abstract/Summary

3D projection mapping, which focuses on changing static objects as presentable commercialized attractions, gives a new layer of imagination to the real world. However, there is a limited development in implementing projection mapping on moving objects thus, the research is narrowed on implementing an interactive 3D projection mapping system that utilizes augmented reality technology. A causal game that applies specific physics concept will be created to improve the concept of projection mapping technology. A camera will be used to track the tool and a projector to render the image. Studies involved in this research include software, algorithms and formulas that will be integrated in projection mapping, augmented reality, game procedures and physics simulation. The output of the game will introduce a development in projection mapping regarding moving objects, benefiting the industry and other researchers related to this technology.
