Abstract/Summary
United Bayanihan Foundation (UBF) is a non-profit organization established to promote active ageing and healthy lifestyle for all senior citizens as part of United Laboratories' corporate social responsibility. To fulfill their mission and vision, UBF holds events for senior citizens in partnership with Local Government Units (LGU), doctors from Philippine Academy of Family Physicians, and Home for the Aged. However, as UBF expands its networks, they do not have one formal, credible, and cost-efficient medium to disseminate all important organizational information to its partners. Because of this, their partners, specially the LGU have become unfamiliar and are often confused with United Bayanihan Foundation's programs and services thus, affecting their organization-partner relationship. The proponents conducted an audit on their communication and partnership relations using the Relationship Management Theory by Ledingham and Bruning (1998). This revealed that UBF's limited online presence hinders the expansion of their public relations. To address this problem, the proponents developed an organizational website for UBF (http://www.unitedbayanihanfoundation.org/), guided by the Theory of Dialogic Communications of Kent and Taylor (1998), containing content that would develop positive organization-public relationships and initiate collaboration.
