Corallum very light, fragile, explanate plate, 1 mm thin at edge, 4 mm thick 6 cm inward from border. Lower surface covered all over with thin epitheca presenting concentric lines in wave-like succession. (Specimen consists of 2 species broken off from colony, neither piece shows point of attachment.)
Upper surface slightly undulate; pierced in almost regular fashion by small corallites and covered all over with prominent vesicles, some open but mostly closed.
Corallites evenly distributed, 3.5-4 mm distant (measured from wall to wall of adjoining corallites); cylindrical, 1.5 mm diameter, 1-1.5 mm exsert above surface on inner portion, slightly taller toward border of corallum.
Primary septa 6, prominent, slightly exsert over calicinal rim, sparingly granulate on edge and surface; inner edge drops down vertically to columella; exsert portion thickened. Secondaries 6, very narrow, thin, far short of calicinal center, not joined to columella; cycle not always complete; tertiaries lacking.
Columella a small, depressed area devoid of any structural prominence.
Costae obvious especially those corresponding to first cycle of septa; those of secondary cycles less prominent; both smooth, extending entire height of corallite.
Perithecal area completely covered with open or closed vesicles. On cut edge, vesicles appear as distinct cavities with arched upper covering, succeeding each other throughout thickness of corallum.
