Corallum irregularly circular, diameter 76 mm, light, delicate. Lower surface slightly concave, several concentric regions, with few obsolescent slits. Upper surface symmetrical convex, with slight tentacular lobe; central foss open, small. Edge of corallum extremely thin, fragile.
Septa very thin and fragile, laxly set so synapticulae very visible, very unequal in height. Those of the first 4 cycles standing high above others from periphery to central foss, equal in height at edge of corallum; their edges very finely serrate, their surface laxly spinulate; ends bordering fossa almost vertical, slightly crenated.
Costae thin at edge of corallum, then swollen markedly inward, principal ones extending up to innermost concentric circle, with few fine spines unevenly set; minor ones only one half of radius in extent.
Columella poorly developed, a few tubercles with rounded tips extending inward from septal ends.
