Corallum explanate, frondose, 1 mm thick at edge, 11 near center (specimen only a part of corallum of unknown size and lacks point of attachment), 19 x 15 cm, undulate. Lower surface epithecate up to c. 1 cm from margin; epitheca thin so costae distinct. Large costae alternating with 4-5 lower ones; edge of large costae provided with coarse, irregularly spaced teeth; entire lower surface covered all over with abundant, crowded, tiny granules.
Upper surface made irregular by alternate, radially disposed depressions and elevations, the latter made rougher still by protrusion of corallites on them.
Corallites projecting up to 3-4 mm on elevated areas, flush with surface within depressed or level areas, unevenly disposed. Diameter of fossa up to 2 mm from edges of septa opposite each other.
Septocostae thin within depression, their edges armed with irregularly disposed small teeth; 8-10 converge into corallites, none extend all the way from center to edge without being interrupted by corallites. On elevated areas, septocostae much thicker (occasionally thin ones intercalated between thick ones), rougher, their teeth more prominent, oftentimes not in single row.
Inside corallites, septa markedly (in protruding corallites), or slightly or not at all (in flush corallites) exsert; their edges drop vertically into fossa. In flush corallites, entering septocostae remain thin or only slightly thickened; in protruding ones these become so thick that their teeth are set in rows (bands) across their edges instead of in a single row and exsert portion columniform, very roughly spinulous. Interseptal loculi wider than septocostae, occupied by very conspicuous vesicles (blisters).
Columella depressed, consisting of few anastomosing tubercles.
