Abstract/Executive Summary
Established in 2023, Unisleeved is a company that sells accessories following the culture of different universities for students to showcase their belongingness. Furthermore, Unisleeved aims to help its fellow students by donating 10% of its net profits to organizations fighting for quality education. With its trendy and unique designs, Unisleeved was already able to reach out to its target market through the use of social media platforms. Currently, Unisleeved is in its fifth month of operations and is continuously growing its product lines to reach a broader consumer base. With a perfect mixture of witty ideas and aesthetically pleasing designs, Unisleeved’s products are the first in its market as it focuses on university-themed photocard holders. As a company that was created through the business simulation project under the Practical Research course, Unisleeved is a registered corporation headed by five students from De La Salle University Integrated School, namely Francine Ventenilla as the General Manager, Janille Dy as the Finance Head, Jovanna Tan as the Production Head, Aaron Lanuza as the Marketing Head, and Katrina Del Castillo as the Administrative Head. The photo frame industry is vast, making it easier for Unisleeved to penetrate the market through innovative and creative product designs. With this, some of the most notable competitors would include Sanrio, Purple Goods, and Comet Crush, with their strengths mainly focused on a wide variety of designs and established business names. On the other hand, their weaknesses would be the pricing and international shipping rates and time. 35,000php was invested into Unisleeved on January 2023 by the founding members of the company, each contributing a fair share of 7,000php per owner. Dividends will be split evenly between the owners of Unisleeved with reference to the number of stocks each investor has.
