SAFLO was established during the third term of the A.Y 2020 – 2021. One of the main goals of the business is to reduce the negative effects of the fashion industry. The industry is known to be one of the most polluting industries in the market. With that, the business offers an eco-friendly tote bag that is primarily for daily use and serves as a sustainable alternative to regular bags. SAFLO’s marketing of products has been mostly done on online platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Its current stage of development is its product diversification phase where it introduced a new line of product – caps. The business personnel consists of the business owner, operations officer, marketing officer, finance officer, and human resource officer. In addition, the key support group of the management is the students’ parents. They are the main contributors to the business’ capital. Moreover, major competitors include small businesses that also offer tote bags. Their strengths could include experience in the fashion industry as some businesses were formed before SAFLO. Another can be business resources wherein other businesses have a larger capital in order to have better production processes and services. On the other hand, their weaknesses can be their access to their market. As most businesses are forced to shift to an online setup due to the pandemic, having a stable and strong internet connection is essential. However, not all small businesses have sufficient funds to have this resource. Lastly, SAFLO invested 20,000 PHP as capital to cover all business activities and services.
