About the Conference
The De La Salle University (DLSU) Libraries, in collaboration with the Philippine Normal University Library and Information Science Alumni Association (PNULISAA), will host a two-day online conference on 3-4 July 2025 with the theme “Measuring Change, Changing Measures: Impact and Assessment in Libraries.”
The 6th Conference on Library and Information Studies (CLIS 2025) brings together library professionals, educators, practitioners, and students from around the world to explore how libraries assess their impact and adapt to an evolving information landscape.
This two-day event features keynote speakers and peer-reviewed presentations that highlight innovative methodologies, emerging trends, and evidence-based practices. Attendees will engage in discussions about how libraries measure their success, demonstrate their value, and respond to institutional and community needs.
A pre-conference workshop entitled, “Decoding the Group Mind: Conducting Effective Focus Group Discussions” will also be held on 2 July 2025, in conjunction with the main event. The workshop intends to provide a venue for interactive and collaborative learning and includes discussions, Q&A's, and hands-on activities.
